You can easily walk past Gami without realising its open for business and thinking that it's also a take away joint but once you are in you can hear the chicken sizzling and the smell of many asian flavours.
My friend and i ordered fruit drinks: grape and pear, which actually had real fruit pieces in. This was a bit unsual but tasted nice and sweet. For our mains we ordered a whole chicken and selected the half and half style, where we chose the sweet chilli and soy garlic chicken for $30. I cannot begin to tell you how tasty the chicken was, the batter used was light and crispy and it wasn't too greasy. Every bite I took off the chicken leg made a satisfying crunch! The pickles that came with the meal was sweet and went perfectly with the chicken. My only negative point was the ketchup and thousand island sauce added to the cabbage, it didn't really give the meal the deserving final touch.
All in all, I had a great dining experience here and I'm probably a stone heavier but I would love to come here again. It's the perfect place to enjoy with friends for a bit of casual dining.
