Jumbo Floating Restaurant

My boyfriend and I bought a Big Bus Tour ticket to take us around Kowloon and Hong Kong island, this was such a great investment as we spent the day sightseeing and learning about the history of the country and its iconic skyscrapers. The ticket also included a boat tour around Sampan, which lead us to the Jumbo Floating Restaurant.

This is pretty much what it says on the tin. It's a beautiful floating restaurant, where there are free boats around Aberdeen to take you there. Don't fall for the tourist trap and pay, there is a specific port, which takes you for free.

Inside the restaurant is stunning, large paintings, low lights and beautiful decor. The food was pricey for Hong Kong, but we really wanted to try eating here. They gave us a simplified Engligh menu, where we could tick off what dum sum we wanted. We decided on quite a few different dishes and the food was scrumptious.
Chicken Claws and Glutinous Rice
Steamed pork dumplings
Steamed Rice Pancakes
Glutinous Rice wrapped in lotus leaf
Fried shrimp rolls
