Me gusta tapas

I applied for a free trial in the Taste Card and visited La Tascas as they were promoting 40% off your bill, which was an opportunity too good to miss. We went a bit crazy in our Tapas to Share and ordered:

  • Calamares
  • Patatas bravas
  • Croquetas de manchego
  • Chorizo
  • Gambas gambardina
  • Salsa chicken wings
This is the third time I have eaten at La Tasca (twice in Brighton) and I've always had a faultless dining experience. The staff are friendly, the food was great and sangria topped everything off. My absolute favourite dish was the patatas bravas, which is fried potatoes with a spicy tomato sauce. The potatoes were so crispy and moreish and the sauce complimented it perfectly. If I had to say which dish let me down, I would say the chorizo as I found it too chewy. But that aside, it was a great meal and I will definitely be dining here again.

  1. If you liked La Tasca in Brighton then you should try Casa Don Carlos in The Lanes. I think it is far better than La Tasca; the dishes are fresher and much closer to tapas I have had in Spain.

  2. Great! Thank you for the recommendation, I will definitely try this when I'm in Brighton.
